Hearth & Honey Intimates respects the private nature of your visit. This Policy explains what information we collect through hearthandhoneyintimates.com, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Hearth & Honey Intimates website, including our contact form and communications initiated through it. It does not govern third-party websites or services that maintain their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us, we collect the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, inquiry category, message, and any order details you voluntarily include. Please do not submit payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting systems may automatically record standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, date and time, referring page, and security or error events. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Our contact-form provider, FormSubmit, uses spam-prevention technology and may use cookies when you submit a form. Google Fonts and the embedded Google Maps feature load from Google’s servers, which means your browser makes requests to Google and shares standard connection information such as your IP address and requested URL. Google Maps may also use cookies or similar technologies under Google’s policies.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to questions, requests, and customer-service inquiries.
  • Provide information about products, sizing, availability, and orders.
  • Operate, maintain, protect, and improve the website.
  • Detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information with your consent, to respond to your request or take steps at your direction, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, and as needed to comply with law.

4. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors that help us host the website, process contact-form submissions, provide email, load fonts, prevent spam, and maintain security may process information on our behalf.
  • Form submissions. Our form is processed by FormSubmit and delivered to our support inbox. FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for up to 30 days.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business changes. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, including FormSubmit’s privacy terms and Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Data retention

We retain contact messages and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request, provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for operations and security. Retention periods may vary based on the nature of the information and applicable requirements.

6. Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.

To make a request, email us using the address below and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law, though we may require proof of authorization.

We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections and restrictive browser security policies. No internet transmission, email, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International visitors

We are based in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our website or practices change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
